Tunbridge Wells Livery is a small friendly and peaceful yard just outside Tunbridge Wells (between Lamberhurst and Brenchley) run by qualified, experienced and caring staff who are onsite 24 hours a day. The yard is secure, private and in a beautiful setting with access to lovely hacking both on TROT rides and private orchards locally as well as miles of quiet country lanes. We are only 45 minutes from Camber Sands, and less than ten minutes from Bedgebury Forest by box or trailer. There are lots of local venues for dressage and showjumping and the yard has fantastic road links for competition and ample parking.

Our internal stables are 14 x 14 with the exception of one 10 x 14 pony box and we can cater for individual or group turnout as well as specialised care for convalescents, laminitics, those on box rest, medication or elderly retirement liveries etc. The stables have 18mm quality rubber matting throughout, haybars and automatic drinkers, they are well ventilated and warm and offer a large undercover area with excellent lighting for grooming and spending time with your horse in a peaceful environment throughout the year. Horses are handled calmly and consistently and maintain a good routine - our residents are happy and content and range in size from 8hh to 17.3hh and from 3 years old to 28! We offer year round turnout in well maintained paddocks and the yard is clean and spacious.

Other facilities include an isolation box, 40 x 20 Charles Britton arena and a full set of coloured and natural showjumps, and a large secure tack room. We have a UKCC Level 2 Coach and BHSPT onsite for teaching but we also have well respected visiting trainers and coaches or you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. We offer tea and coffee making facilities and there is a toilet available for livery clients use. .

We offer superb care from very well qualified and experienced staff and each horse here is treated as an individual. We have full beds of Aubiose dust free bedding in all stables, and grow our own excellent meadow hay. Our instructors offer horse owners certificates and pony care days onsite and we specialise in riders who lack in confidence or are new to horse ownership as a high level of support is available to owners although our flexible approach to meeting your needs also ensures that competitive or more experienced riders are also excellently catered for. Exercise on the lunge or under saddle can be arranged depending on your needs. There is also always someone available to hack with or offer advice on schooling should you need it.
